Abhi, played by Aftab Shivdasani, Paglu, played by Ritesh Deshmukh and Amrita aka Amu, played by Ayesha Takia have been best friends since their childhood days and inseparable. Abhi’s father is a wealthy businessman and thus Abhi has never taken interest in working but always depended on his father for everything. He tells Abhi that he should marry Amu as they know each other well, but he tells them that he already loves someone. Amu somehow thinks it is her and falls for Abhi.
Later it is revealed that Abhi likes a girl called Kartika. This breaks Amu’s heart. Paglu and Amu try and find out more about Kartika and to their shock realize that she is not the girl Abhi thinks she is. She is actually after his money and has no interest in him. They try to tell him but he ignores them. One day they kidnap Kartika and make her write a letter to Abhi that she doesn’t love him. Later when she escapes she tells Abhi all about her kidnapping and he gets infuriated with Amu and Paglu. Eventually he realizes that Kartika, whose real name was Anjali is not the girl for him.
The movie is directed by Eeshwar Nivas and produced by Ravi Walia. The music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar and the cinematography is done by Amitabha Singh.
