The story follows two school friends Anna and Ira who are inseparable. They love to hang around after school and have fun. They also want to find out about their reclusive neighbor Maya, who never leaves her home. Anna’s mother tells her that Maya is a beautiful woman but after her father and uncle died she never really left her house, and stays there with two dogs and her birds. So they both decide to play a prank on her. They write love letters to her pretending to be a admirer and lover. Every letter is more explicit and romantic. One day they go too far and break into Maya’s house to steal her picture but Ira ends up injuring her foot and that of the maid.
Ira then has to fill in for the maid till she recovers. This the girls a chance to observe Maya and see how happy the letters make her. She one day announces that she is going to seek the letter writer. But before the girls could stop her it’s too late. She leaves for Delhi. The girls get scolded by their parents for this childish behavior and Anna gets sent to a boarding school.
Six years later they finally locate Maya and see her happy. They discover that she has met a man of her dreams and lives happily in the world outside Shimla. The film is directed by Sunaina Bhatnagar and produced by Shobhna Yadav and Sandeep Leyzell.
