Basant, played by Govinda is an arrogant and self absorbed person who always gets a way of acquiring what he wants in any way possible. One day he sees a girl Priya, played by Priyanka Chopra and falls head over heels in love with her and wants her in his life but before he even tries to woo her she vanishes. His friend Vasant accidentally knocks her over on the bike and takes her to the hospital. He donates his blood to her and she thanks Basant mistakenly.
Both the friends now try their luck to get Priya’s attention in many ways but to no avail. Meanwhile, one of her friends Ajit, mysteriously gets murdered and inspector Sharad , played by Sharat Saxena is investigating the case. Turns out that it is Basant who killed him. Vasant confront him about using his name and wooing Priya this infuriates him and he slaps Vasant. Vasant falls from a cliff and dies. Later the police arrest Basant and he is jailed for 7 years.
The movie is written and directed by K.C Bokadia and produced by Amit Kumar Bokadia. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and Bappa Lahiri. The cinematography is by Amit Roy and Mahendra Varma is the action director.
