Suraj Gupta is an honest and trusted police officer in the force. He lives with his wife Kiran and school going son Umesh. He dislikes outlaws and takes all steps to nab culprits who spoil the peace of the country. He thus comes to know of Jagga’s illegal trades and crimes, and thus apprehends him. When he refuses to budge, he kills Jagga. Jagga’s brother Rakesh swears to avenge his brother’s death and kills Suraj while his wife and son manage to escape. Soon Kiran joins the police force and decides to fight for her husbands right to justice and nab his killers. Umesh meanwhile grows up to be arrogant and directionless. He gets into bad company, drinks alcohol and parties till late hours.
He falls in love with a bar dancer named Anita who is in fact the pawn of Rakesh itself. He along with Jagga’s son have decided to wipe out Kiran and Umesh and hire a notorious hitman Sher Khan who is known to have never failed an assignment. The film is directed by Swaroop Kumar and produced by S K Kapoor. The music is composed by Sonik Omi. The star cast includes Raaj Kumar, Aditya Pancholi, Hema Malini, Mandakini, Bob Christo, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Birbal, Tej Sapru, Narendranath and Prema Naryana.
