Leni, played by Kalki Koechlin is a popular student at a Delhi school. She is dating a older school friend and while getting intimate one day, he records them and forwards it to his friends. The MMS spreads and Leni is humiliated. Her father comes to know and commits suicide, while her mother who is furious and devastated refuses to speak with her. A heartbroken Leni runs away from home and becomes a prostitute in Delhi. One day she meets Dev who is heavily drunk and speaks of someone called Paro, played by Mahi Gill. Leni starts having feeling for Dev.
Dev was in love with Paro, who was his childhood love. But due to his lazy behavior, his parents send him to London to finish his studies. He returns and meets Paro and the love is re-ignited. But Dev is even more egoistic and arrogant now. He hears rumors about Paro having sexual relations around with many men and he questions her. Even after her denial he still doesn’t belive her and a shocked Paro leaves him and gets married to a man of her parent’s choice. Dev later learns that the rumors were untrue but it is too late as Paro is already a married woman.
The movie is directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The music is composed by Amit Trivedi.
