Varun is an honest and dedicated police inspector. He arrests gangster Pilot Baba’s son for running over and killing a fellow police inspector. However Pilot’s cunning lawyer Diwan, proves him innocent and he is free to do whatever he wants. Soon Varun is distraught at the turn of events and confides in his mechanic friend Suraj. Suraj thus decides to study law and help out his friend. Things take a different turn one day when Varun arrests Suraj for molesting Mrs Deodhar. Varun is later arrested for the murder of Mrs. Deodhar and is imprisioned in the same prison as Suraj. He will now avenge his humiliation.
The movie is directed by Sameer Malkan and produced by Suresh Groaver. The music is composed by Anu Malik and the lyrics are written by Dev Kohli. The story and screenplay are written by Rajeev Kaul. The cinematography is by Akram Khan and the choreography is by Bhupendra Singh and Ahmed Khan. The star cast includes Vinod Khanna, Sunil Shetty, Tabu, Gautami, Amrish Puri, Laxxmikant Berde, Arun Govil, Sanjay Shah, Anjali Jathar and Kunika.
