Kashinath is a simpleton and innocent village boy. He is in love with his childhood friend Imli and both want to spend the rest of their lives together. Everyone thinks that they are destined to be married. However in a turn of events a rich and spoilt girl named Anjali comes into Kashinath’s live. Her father hires Kashinath to take care of his daughter and work for them. In the care and friendship of Kashinath, the always ill Anjali blooms and recovers to be bold and beautiful. She eventually falls in love with Kashinath. He has no idea that Anjali loves him and is always looking for the affection of Imli. Imli tells Kashinath that she has a heart condition and needs a lot of money to stay alive. He has to now get the money anyhow to save his lover’s life.
The film is directed by K Vishwanath and produced by Sudhakar Bokade. The music is composed by Anand Milind. The screenplay is written by Javed Siddiqui, Robin Bhatt and Sujit Sen. The star cast includes Ajay Devgan, Karishma Kapoor,Manisha Koirala, Avinash Wadhwan,Kader Khan,Shakti Kapoor, Dalip Tahil, Dinesh Hingoo,Tinnu Anand and Aruna Irani.
