Dharampal, played by Paresh Rawal is Hindu by religion and dislikes Muslims. He loves music and has a habit of regularly quarreling with a Muslim man from his vicinity called Nawab, played by Annu Kapoor. One day when Dharampal goes to claim his late mothers belongings from a bank’s safe, he finds adoption papers proving that he is adopted from Muslim parents. This is a shocker for him, considering how much he detests people of that faith.
He later confides in Nawab, telling him the truth and sets off in search of his biological father. Turns out, his father is ill at a hospital taken care of by an Imaam. He tells Dharampal, seeing him being raised a non-muslim will hurt his father so he must learn the ways of a Muslim and come back. Meanwhile Dharampal’s son falls in love and is set to marry a Hindu girl Shraddha. Her father being a devotee of a spiritual guru called Neelanand and he must follow him too. But learning of his Muslim background, the guru tells her father not to let his daughter marry there. Also, a case is filed against Dharampal for offending the Muslim community.
Sadly before the trial in court his unwell father passes away. Dharampal notices that Neelanand has a peculiar habit of twitching the eyes because of a rare abnormality and realizes a sikh pop singer he used to be a fan of had the same habit. He is positive that the Neelanand and the singer are the same people and the guru has been fooling people. Dharampal later shares that a persons religion are of no consequence to anyone only their actions and behavior is. The movie is directed by Fuwad Khan and produced by Sajjad Chunawala, Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Shariq Patel. The music is composed by Meet Bros Anjjan, Jatinder Shah and Sachin Gupta.
