Dharamraj looks after the village of Nandgaon. He is like the uncrowned king and his judgment is final. Be is any crime done by even his own blood, rich or poor, he makes sure justice is served and the culprit will not get away from the verdict. The villagers look up to Dharamraj and treat him like god. They respect him and only rely on his opinion. Chowdhary and Shastry of the village are envious and jealous of him and want to bring him down in front of the villagers. They dream of being in his position some day.
Shahtry and Chowdry come to know that Dharamraj is helping a widower and paying her bills as she has no financial income. This news is used to their advantage and they spread rumors that DharamRaj and the lady are having an affair. But soon he proves otherwise. Things get complicated as his daughter falls in love with the widow’s son. He then comes to know the evil plan of the two villagers and manages to kill them with the help of his son. The film is directed by K Raghavendra Rao and M Madhusudhana Rao and is produced by U V Suryanarayan. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the story is written by Paruchuri Brothers. The star cast includes Dilip Kumar, Jeetendra, Sridevi, Anuradha Patel, Pran, Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Asrani, Rakesh Bedi, Sujit Kumar, Mayur, Rohini Hattangadi, Preeti and Geeta Suddharth.
