Capt Rohit Kapoor, played by Sanjay Suri, is a valiant Indian Army officer in the Jat regiment. His father Suresh is a professor of Economics, while mother is a librarian. Rohit is angaged to be married to the love of his life Pihu Verma, played by Gul Panag. While Rohit is in the Tiger Hills at Kargil, to destroy insurgents from Pakistan he gets killed. His family and Pihu is devastated at the sad news. They find it tough to come to terms with this huge loss. Messages of condolences pour in from well wishers and government officials.
As a compensation for the loss, the government offers the Kapoor family a franchise of a petrol pump to be run by them. Rohit’s mother is disgusted by the offer but later when his senior Major Kaul convinces them, they agree. However no soon than they decide to start operating the petrol pump, they encounter severe corruption and threats from politicians, goons and bureaucrats. They are belittled and mocked by corrupt government officials. Their mission is now to carry on with their lives and keep Rohit’s name in the highest regard.
The movie is directed by Ashwini Chaudhary and produced by Sanjay Reddy, Parth Arora, Saket Bahl and Karan Grover. The music is composed by Lalit Sen.
