Sunil Verma is given the task to impersonate the late Ashok Saxena by his boss. He agrees and decides to become the late Ashok who was an expert race car driver. Meanwhile Rani Gayatri Saxena, who is Ashok’s brother’s wife is the only one who knows him by face. So when Sunil arrives as Ashok she is confused and tells straight away that he is not the one. But he proves her wrong in every way. She is now frustrated and asks Sheela, Sunil’s ex-fiancee to testify as she too has seen Ashok. But Sheela is threatened by Sunil’s boss and she too agrees that he is Ashok. The film is directed by Dulal Guha and produced by Gautam Guha. The music is composed by R D Burman. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Abhi Bhattacharya, Rakhee, Ranjeeta, Aroona Irani and Amjad Khan
