The story of Dil Kabaddi revolves around two couples and their struggle to keep their marriage afloat in times of despair and hopelessness. It documents the changes in the couple’s as they grow. When love is replaced by temptation and jealousy, passion is replaced by boredom and silly fights, things start to take a turn for the worse. It is in times like these that the faith and sincerity of the couples towards each other is tested.
Samit, played by Irrfan Khan and Mita, played by Soha Ali Khan are a married couple and have had their share of differences. They make the shocking announcement to their friends and family that they have decided to separate and live life on their own terms. Rishi, played by Rahul Bose and Simi, played by Konkana Sen Sharma are another couple who have had ups and downs of their own as well and finding it hard to keep things together. The movie is a look at the lives of couple’s who live in a urban jungle like Mumbai.
The movie is directed by Anil Sharma and produced by Shailesh Singh. The music is composed by Sachin Gupta.
