Thakur Ranvir is a respected wealthy man in his town. He is furious when his only sister Radha marries a poor man and cuts ties with her. After he death however, he is forced to look after his three children; Vijay, Gudiya and Bittu. Meanwhile a young girl named Sonia wants to get a job to make ends meet and take care of her sick mother. So she dresses up as an elderly lady and gets a job as a governess at Thakur’s house. She also teaches dance at a local school where Vijay also works and both fall in love. Thakur, who is a bachelor also falls in love with the elderly Sonia who calls herself Savitri Devi.
Meanwhile Pratap Singh, a greedy businessman comes to know of Sonia’s secret and wants her to make Thakur sign some papers for him to reopen a factory. She refuses and he exposes them all. However when Pratap tries to double cross Thakur Vijay and Sonia come to his rescue and they all unite.
The film is directed by Lawrence D'Souza and produced by Rakesh Nath. The music is composed by Nadeem Sharvan and the lyrics are written by Sameer. The screenplay is written by Rakesh Nath. The star cast inludes Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Anupam Kher, Kader Khan, Tej Sapru, Asrani, Shakti Kapoor, Raja Duggal, Yunus Perwez, Mangal Dhillon, Anjana Mumtaz, Guddi Maruti and Aprajita.
