Prashant works as a crime reporter for a daily newspaper. He has seen injustice and crime happen rampantly. The cops and politicians all seem to have become immune to the unrest and violence in the city and nobody wants to take a stand anymore. One day Prashant who is out and about with his life, witnesses a gruesome murder of a man named Monto. The police hardly investigates and closes the case as accident. Having had enough of this lawlessness, Prashant decides to take matters in his own hands and goes straight to the police and tells them that he has seen Bharat Acharya kill Monto in cold blood.
Prashant’s life from there on is turned upside down. His sister is abducted and raped and tortured, he loses his job and he has no where to go. He now has to decide weather to move away from all this and start a new life or stay and make the culprits suffer the consequences of their actions. The film is directed by SameerMalkan and produced by Dinesh Patel. The music is composed by Nadeem Shravan. The star cast includes Ajay Devgan, Raveena Tandon, Amrish Puri,Natasha Sinha,Abhimanyu,Satyen Kappu,Alok Nath,Anjan Shrivastav,Shakti Kapoor,Pankaj Berry, Deep Dhillon, Dinesh Hingoo and Manohar Singh.
