Veerendra and Kuldeep are close friends who treat each other like family. Veerendra works as a reporter in a reputed newspaper agency, while Kuldeep collects evidences against a notorious gangster named Shetty to expose him of his crimes. Veerendra then publishes these evidences onto his newspaper. After a while Shetty is furious and decides to avenge his humiliation. He thus ends up killing Kuldeep and gets Veerendra fired from his job. Veerendra, is devastated to lose his close friend and swears to avenge his death. He however finds himself arrested and falsely accused of raping and murdering a woman.
The film is directed by Sikander Bhartee and produced by Hashmat Rai Burman and Kuldeep Raj. The music is composed by Hari-Arjun and the lyrics are written by Sikander Bharti and Qamar Jalalabadi. The story and screenplay is written by Ranbir Pushp. The star cast includes Amjad Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Jamuna, Sadashiv Amrapurkar,Kapil Razdan, Jairaj,Subbiraj, Vikas Anand, Ishita Babbar and Renu Joshi.
