Heera comes from a conservative Hindu family and is brought up in a middle class family. On several occasions he runs into a beautiful and charming Catholic girl named Ruby and both become good friends. Before they know it, Heera and Ruby have fallen in love plan to get married. But their different cultures and religions will be the biggest road block in their future. Ruby’s parents Stella and Steven are extremely upset on
knowing that their daughter has been dating a Hindu boy. They not only arrange her marriage to a Catholic boy but also get Heera arrested and imprisoned. When Heera is released from prison, his father locks him up inside a room, making sure that he never sees Ruby again. Heera’s mother feels sorry for the young lovers but there is very little she can do. The film is directed by Durai and produced by A Sayeed Khan, and Madan Lal. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri.
