Raj, played by Govinda is married to Kiran, palyed by Susmita Sen, but is also having an affair with Dolly, played by Lara Dutta. One day Raj gets fed up with his cook Mangu and fires him. Mangu takes his revenge by clicking a picture of Dolly and Raj together and giving it to Kiran. She then hires a detective to follow them. Raj tells Kiran that Govardhan is actually Dolly’s boyfriend and asks him to stay with Dolly till Kiran’s suspicions go away. Dolly’s ex Diesel, played by Sohail Khan tries to warn Govardhan away.
Kiran lies to Raj that she is visiting her mother in Poona, to catch them red-handed. Just as expected he books a hotel room and calls Dolly. The detective goes to catch them red-handed but accidentally slips. Raj and Dolly see him and thinks he is dead and get rid of his body. They later learn that he is alive but has lost his memory. They all try to lie to him that he is John Matthews and a bachelor, someone says he married and divorced. This confuses the detective and he leaves. Meanwhile Govardhan sees Diesel and tells him that Raj is Dolly’s boyfriend and later Dolly tells Diesel that actually she is meant to be with Diesel and not anyone else.
Just when Kiran and Raj are about to go for a second honeymoon, the detective’s memory returns and Kiran sees the pictures of her husband’s infidelity and leaves him. The movie is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The music is composed by Nadeem- Shravan.
