Do Waqt Ki Roti is a hindi film of the action-drama genre. This hindi movie is directed by Satpal and produced by M.P. Agarwal. Also, its story and screenplay is done by Suroor-Subhash and its music is given by the legendary duo of Laxmikant-Pyarelal and the lyrics are written by Anand Bakshi and its songs are as follows: “Kaisi Thi Woh Nazar’’sung by Lata Mangeshkar followed by “Aaj Ki Raat Meri Gali Mein” sung by Asha Bhosle and Lata Mangeshkar and further the next song “O Mata Kaali Shaktishali” sung by Chandrani Mukherjee and Asha Bhosle. This hindi film’s story begins with Tantia Bheel(Amjad Khan) who is a very cunning, clever and notorious bandit who gets arrested by the police and after his several trials in court he gets a massive imprisonment of up to ten years. However, his tenure of imprisonment gets concluded when he somehow manages to escape the jail and then reunites with his gang which is led by Bhairav Singh(Kamal Kapoor) and his beloved son Jagga(Ranjeet Bedi). As Tantia escapes from the jail, the police department’s reputation gets massively affected and hence the jailer Vijay Saxena(Sanjeev Kumar) takes responsibility of this and immediately resigns from his post and further searches for Tantia in order to regain his lost prestige and respect. As Vijay embarks upon his mission, He encounters an unexpected challenge in the form of Shankar(Feroz Khan) who is highly driven by the revenge of the murder of his sister Pammi(Padma Chavan) who was brutally murdered by Tantia. Now, they both unite in order to kill him because of their own reasons. What will happen further? Can Vijay and Shankar successfully capture Tanteel? Will Tanteel escape again and continue his evil operations? This hindi film wonderfully portrays the elements of action, drama and thrill through its power-packed action and engaging storyline.
