Ranbir Sehgal, played by Jackie Shroff is a working professional and in love with Ria, played by Raveena Tandon. They both dream of a beautiful future together, however there are sudden breaks in their future ambitions when Ria’s mental illness shows up and disrupts their peaceful life. She is then confined to a mental asylum, while Ranbir moves on. He then meets Dr. Anjali, played by Mahima Chaudhary, a psychiatrist. They soon fall in love and get married. Anjali gives birth to a baby boy who sadly dies. The tragedy struck couple move on with their lives.
Ria one fine day enters Ranbir’s life once again. She informs him that she has given birth to a son and named him Varun, years back and wants him to meet her son. Ranbir agrees and accompanies Ria to meet her son. The journey is long and unending. Ranbir begins to suspect of ulterior motives of Ria and feels Varun doesn’t really exist, but is a fiction of her imagination.
The movie is directed and produced by Shashi Ranjan. The music is composed by Anu Malik and Jasbir Jassi. The cinematography is by Arvind K and the choreography is by Chinni Prakash.
