On his death bed, Don Muthuswami’s father asks him to lead a normal and respectable life and leave the world of crime behind. Being an obedient son, Muthuswami does as his father tells him and even changes his name to Sir Muthuswami. So he decides to bring about a 360 degree change in his life and also takes Urdu classes from a teacher named Jaikishan. His daughter Sanjana, however, falls in love with Jaikishan and wants to marry him. Muthuswami’s right hand man Preetam also is besotted by the beautiful Sanjana and wants to marry her.
Preetam tries hard to impress Sir Muthuswami by showing that he is extremely wealthy. So he steals millions to show he is rich. Sir Muthuswami on the other hand wants Sanjana to marry his friend’s son Pradhan. Sanjana gets very anxious with the confusion and to scare away Pradhan lies to him that she is pregnant. Later, it is revealed that the girl Preetam loves is Ranjana, who is faking being Sir Muthuswami’s daughter.
