Renu and Anil are married for many years and live a blissful life. Their life is peaceful and happy but the only thing missing is a child. After trying for many years they finally give up and in despair even stop talking about it. One day however, they come up with an idea of getting a surrogate mother to have their baby. Anil thus meets Chanda and feels she will be the idea woman to give birth to his and Renu’s baby. Things get
complicated when Anil and Chanda get close, and the latter starts taking over a wife’s responsibilities in their house. The film is directed by Lekh Tandon and produced by Dharampal Gupta. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Sharmila Tagore, Shabana Azmi, Victor Banerjee and Sudhir.
