Sher Singh and his son Nagender are poachers who are cruel and conniving. To carry on their illegal trade without any trouble, the duo kill honest forest officer Anthony. It is then that a new officer named Raja comes to on duty. An elephant named Raja, a monkey named Bansi and a parrot named Mitthu are friends of Raja. They all save each other from danger many times. Pooja is the daughter of a millionaire named Brijmohan and Sher Singh wants his son to marry her to usurp their wealth. However, Pooja falls for Raja after he saves her from Nagender. One day Raja catches Sher Singh and his son red-handed while smuggling and they are arrested and given a long prison sentence.
Soon Raja and Pooja marry and have a son named Ravi. When Sher Singh and his son are released from prison, they create a lot of misunderstandings between the couple and also intoxicate Ram, where he destroys property and almost kills Ravi. But later they realize that he didn’t mean any harm. The film is directed by K Muralimohana Rao and produced by A Suryanaryan. The music is composed by R D Burman and the screenplay is by M D Sunder. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Kiran Kumar, Amala, Vikas Anand, Master Antariksh, Asrani, Sujeet Kumar, Sharat Saxena, Jack Gaud, Ghanshyam, Vikas Anand and Shubha Khote.
