Sam, played by Abhishek Bachchan and Kunal, played by John Abraham meet each other at a common friends party and get acquainted. They run into each other again when they both end up wanting to rent the same apartment. The owner Neha, played by Priyanka Chopra, however lives with her aunt and wants to rent the apartment only to girls. Sam and Kunal hatch a plan to pretend they are gay so they can share the apartment. They regret their plan as they both get attracted to Neha on meeting her. The three become close friends and party often together.
Neha’s gay boss is going to retire soon and wants someone to take over so she invites him over for dinner and asks Sam and Kunal to entertain him. However on learning that they aren’t single he gets upset. Sam’s mother is shocked to learn that her son is gay. A new boy called Abhi is chosen as the new Editor and Neha is devastated to learn this. However after a few meetings Neha starts falling in love with Abhi. Neha later comes to know that Sam and Kunal weren’t gay and forgives them.
