Nikhil and Sandhya like any other couple in love get married and live a blissful life. They then have a daughter Rashmi and settle into their professional routines. After 8 years of marriage, Nikhil confesses a shocking truth to Sandhya that he has fallen in love with a much younger woman and wants to leave her. Sandhya is devastated and begs him to stay but he is persistent and moves out of the house, leaving a sobbing Sandhya. A few months later he contacts her again, but this time asking for a divorce. Again shell shocked, Sandhya pleads with him and asks him to return to their old happy life but he flatly refuses.
One year later Nikhil comes back to Sandhya and wants her back, but Sandhya this time has changed and does not listen to a word of what he has to say. She has some confessions of her own. She shocks Nikhil this time by telling him about her affair with a much younger man. The film is directed by Govind Nihalini and produced by Govind Nihalini. The music is composed by Kishori Amonkar and the lyrics are written by Vasant Dev. The star cast includes Shekhar Kapur, Dimple Kapadia, Mita Vashishtha, Ifran and Vijay Kashyap.
