Sapna, played by Karisma Kapoor, has been brought up in a chaotic yet loving environment by her three uncles Bhola, Vicky and Prabhu. They love her to bits and pamper her. When she grows up to be a beautiful young woman, they decide to get her married to the kind of man they think will be perfect for her. Sapna however has dreams and aspirations of her own and decides to go on a solo trip to explore Europe. There she meets the handsome Raja, played by Salman Khan and both fall in love.
Raja now has a tough job of impressing not one not two but three of Sapna’s uncles to like him and accept him as their niece’s husband and life partner. Raja with several failed attempts finally wins them all over and marries Sapna.
The movie is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Gordhan Tanwani. The film is written by Rumi Jaffrey. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya. The star cast includes Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Johnny Lever, Deepak Tijori, Rakesh Bedi, Dara Singh, Mayur, Kader Khan, Satish Kaushik, Kashmira Shah, Farida Jalal, Himani Shivpuri and Usha Bachani.
