Uday, played by Vivek Oberoi, aspires to be the best police officer along with his friend Mohan, played by Sushant Singh. Despite their poor families objecting, they still decide on joining the police force. Their training officer is the honest and righteous cop Raj Sharma. Thus inspite of not having any recommendations they get selected solely on their grit and conviction. Uday and Mohan make Sharma proud and are then known to be tough and dependable cops who don’t take nonsense from anyone. They both become popular among the subordinates.
One day Uday’s girlfriend Kaveri, played by Dia Mirza, gets nearly molested by a corrupt cop named Shankar, played by Atul Kulkarni. Uday gets furious and beats him up. Sharma warns Uday that Shankar is egoistic and uses his police power for all the wrong purposes. He tells him how he killed daughter when his wife was the witness to a murder committed by Babu Kasai. His wife is left in shock since then, while he got promoted and Sharma demoted. Thus Sharma selected Mohan and Uday in the police team. By the time they decide to take any action, Shankar kills Mohan. Uday then kills Babu and frames Shankar for it. But in reality Babu is alive, kept captive by Uday.
Babu who is on his deathbed confesses his crimes and Kaveri records it. She shows his confession to the Commissioner who then knows that Shankar is the real culprit. The movie is directed by Eeshwar Nivas and produced by Ali Morani and Karim Morani. The music is composed by Sandeep Chowta.
