The story of Donno Y Na Jaane Kyun, revolves around the gay relationships between two men. How their love is pure but the world sees it differently and doesn’t acknowledge it. The film is a sensitive portrayal of a married middle class man who falls helplessly in love with a male prostitute. They have immense pressure and tension from the society around them and thus cannot freely express their feelings for each other.
The film gives us a glimpse of the life of homosexual people who find it hard to carry on with their normal lives because our society is cruel to their way of love and thinks and labels it unnatural. They struggle with their day to day lives and some even succumb to pressure by marrying the wrong person and then suffering for the rest of their lives.
The movie is directed by Sanjay Sharma and produced by Rajkumari Satyaprakash. The music is composed by Nikhil Kamat. The cinematography is by Basheer Ali and the choreography is by Raajeiv Khinchi. The star cast includes Aryan Vaid, Kapil Sharma, Maradona Rebello, Hazel Keech, Mahabanoo Mody-Kotwal, Parikshat Sahni, Yuvraaj Parashar, Zeenat Aman, Helen, Rituparna Sengupta, and Asha Sachdev.
