Mahesh is an orphan who has no clue about his upbringing or family background. One day he along with his friend Badru meet a young and pretty girl named Reshma. Badru urges him to ask her out. Reluctantly Mahesh talks to Reshma and soon they both fall in love and get married. They then have a baby boy who they name Lucky. Lucky becomes as responsible and diligent like his father. One day when Lucky sees his father smoking he does the same. A shocked Mahesh stops him and that is when Lucky tells him about a man who sells cigarettes near his school. When he tries to catch hold of the man, Badru has a horrific accident and dies. Lucky, Reshma and Mahesh look in shock.
Lucky grows up and falls in love with Lata and wants to marry her. Meanwhile one day Mahesh finds narcotic drugs in Lucky’s pocket but he promises to give it up. Mahesh is furious and throws him out of his house. Even Lata is fed up of his antics and leaves him. Now the only way out for Lucky is to either change his ways or rob from his father. The movie is directed by Mehmood and produced by Ashok Mishr. The star cast includes Jitendra,Manjur, Salman Khan, Sumala, Johnny Lever, Raza murad, Ashok Kumar, Shahrukh Khan and Anjana Mumtaz.
