Colonel Surya, played by Amitabh Bachchan is a bitter ex-Army man. He is offered to protect a little girl called Anamika by his former army comrade Shekhar, played by Arjun Rampal. Anamika lives in Bangkok with her NRI family. Surya is only interested in drinking alcohol and never even tries to be friendly with the little girl. However, she wins him over by her innocence and childish antics. One fine day when nothing is out of the ordinary, unknown assailants kidnap Anamika. While trying to protect her Surya gets seriously injured. The kidnappers ask for a hefty ransom.
Anamika’s father is not able to pay for the ransom, so Surya devices another way to save the child. However, Surya later comes to know that the culprit behind the kidnapping is actually Shekhar and his lawyer Chang. He confronts Shekhar and a deadly fight ensues. Meanwhile he gets killed and Surya begins to stay with Anamika and her mother to protect her for life.
The movie is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Bunty Walia and Jaspreet Singh Walia. The music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar and Amar Mohile. The cinematography is by Gururaj R. J.
