Kalpana is brought up in a middle class household. She is soon to be married to film actor Mahendra and cannot contain her excitement. Little does she know that he is a womanizer and is a workaholic. She learns this about him only after her marriage and is often left by herself as he is away on work. They visit London together where Mahendra is on a work assignment. Kalpana meets the young arts student Vimal who asks her to pose for a sketch. Soon Vimal and Kalpana fall in love. They get intimate and she feels guilty about it. She ultimately decides toleave Mahendra and live a joyful life with Vimal.The film is directed, produced and written by Vinod Pande. Themusic is composed by Raghunath Seth.
