Sapna comes from a North Indian family while Vasu is from a Tamil speaking south Indian family. They both are neighbors in Goa. After a few misunderstandings both fall madly in love with each other. When their parents comes to know of this they are furious and Vasu’s parents detest the meat-eating family and culture of Sapna and reject their union. The couple however become stronger with every opposition that comes
their way and are determined to make their love conquer all. The couple confess their love for each other in front of their respective families. They agree on the condition that for a year they must stay separated for a year, and after that if they still decide to marry they can go ahead.
Vasu then goes to Hyderabad for work and learns how to speak and write in Hindi. He learns dance from a young girl named Sandhya. On a trip to Mangalore, one day he spots Sapna and her mom’s spy lies to him that they are married. In anger he proposes marriage to Sandhya. Soon The lovers learn the truth how their parents tried to separate them and end their lives to be together forever. The film is directed by K Balachader and produced by L V Prasad.
