Indu lives with her dad and studies in a reputed college. She meets with fellow collegian Raj who is besotted by her. He keeps fallowing her everywhere and eventually they both become close and fall in love. One day when they are taking a ride on the motorbike, some goons attacks them and try to molest Indu. Raj tries his best to save her but in the ensuing fight Indu is thrown off the cliff. Raj is devastated to think that Indu is dead. He looses his mental balance and is sent to a mental institution for treatment. After recovering, Raj comes to know that Indu is still alive and goes to meet her. To his shock her learns that she has married Dr. Verma. When they both are having an intimate moment, her husband walks in and tries to kill them both but he kills Raj.
Soon it turns out that Dr. Verma is now institutionalized in the same hospital as Raj was and is waiting to kill Indu at any cost. The film is directed by Praveen Bhatt and is produced by Raaj Baweja and G H Narani. The music is composed by Pankaj Udhas. The screenplay is written by Santosh Saroj and Praveen Bhatt. The star cast includes Om Puri, Raj kiran, Divya Rana, Danny Denzongpa, Rakesh Bedi and Satish Shah.
