Ritesh, played by Jackky Bhagnani, Puja, played by Puja Gupta and Nanj, played by Angad Bedi are all close friends in school and also score the same horrible marks. One of their friends Vishnu however, has topped and gets admission in a reputed high school. The friends are now worried what will happen to their future and most importantly how will they face their parents.
Ritesh, Nanj and Puja thus create an imaginary university with the name Fakirchand and Lakirchand Trust University (FALTU). Ritesh’s close friend Google, played by Arshad Warsi helps them in setting it. Now their parents decide to have a look at the university so the friends panic. Ritesh along with Google get Bajirao, played by Ritesh Deshmukh to act as the principal and everything seems ok to their parents. However, now actual students have come for admission thinking it’s a real university. The trio unable to reason with them, give them admission and run it like an actual university.
Vishnu’s father meanwhile files a complain against the fake college and the friends decide to prove everyone wrong. In a singing competition they fair very well and all applaud them, including the education minister. When he asks about their University FALTU, they explain how their education system is an eye opener for all and is fair. Thus FALTU is granted a license to run as an authentic university.
The movie is directed by Remo D’Souza and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The music is composed by Sachin-Jigar.
