Ria Singhania, played by Shamita Shetty, is married to a wealthy industrialist Amit Singhania. He is mysteriously found dead and the police suspect foul play. The prime suspect is naturally Ria since she is the sole owner of her husband’s business and wealth. The police also suspect Amit’s subordinate Siddharth of being involved. Ria meanwhile meets with Aditya,, played by Manoj Bajpayee who works for an ad agency and is attracted to him. They both start dating and sleep together.
Aditya is married to Neha, played by Shilpa Shetty and they have a school-going son together. Aditya realizes after a few days that what he is doing with Ria is absolutely wrong and feels guilty. He thus breaks off his relationship with Ria and goes back to Neha. Ria does no take this sitting down and decides to teach Aditya a lesson. She thus acquires the ad agency that he works at and makes his life a living hell. Having had enough, Aditya confronts her one day and returns home in a drunken and blood soaked clothes. The police arrest him for the murder of Ria Singhania. Neha does everything in her capacity to prove that Aditya is innocent.
The movie is directed by Deepak Tijori and produced by Sanjiv Jaiswal and Rajesh Singh and Suresh Maurya. The music is composed by Anu Malik. The cinematography is by Manoj Soni.
