Police inspector Vikram is diligent and hardworking. He is against anyone who goes against the law. However all his efforts over the years become nil when he is falsely framed for possession of narcotic drugs. His mother dies of shock hearing the devastating news. Vikram unable to prove his innocence is tried in court and found guilty. He is then sentenced to many years in prison. Vikram is seething at this injustice and spends his time becoming a hardcore criminal in jail. He learns all the skills of a seasoned gangster and is released from jail to take vengeance. Vikram is soon pitted against his very own brother Amar who is just as honest and diligent as his brother.
The film is directed by R P Swamy and produced by Dalwinder Sohal. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Shashi Kapoor,Govinda, Neelam, Amrish Puri,Raza Murad,Bob Christo,Mac Mohan,Satyen Kappu, Anjana Mumtaz, Padma Khanna and Lenna Dass.
