Meghna, played by Priyanka Chopra comes to Mumbai to become a model, despite her parent’s objections to enter the fashion industry. She initially stays with an aunt. She struggles to get a foothold into the modeling world. During a fashion show she meets supermodel Shonali and is in awe of her but gets ridiculed by the choreographer to get a proper portfolio done. She realizes the fees for getting a portfolio done is very high and thus agrees to do a lingerie ad to pay for it. Her aunt happens to see the ad on a magazine and is embarrassed by it. She scolds her for coming home late and posing for such a cheap ad.

Meghna leaves her aunts home and moves in with a fellow model Maanav who she had recently met and befriended. They both eventually fall in love and start dating. Model Shonali’s unprofessional behavior gets her fired from a top modeling agency called Panache and they hire Meghna as the new face of their agency. Meghna hits the jackpot and keeps moving upward in her career.
