Fiza, played by Karisma Kapoor lives with her mother and is hopeful with her mother that one day her brother Amaan, played by Hrithik Roshan will return back home some day. He went missing during the 1993 Bombay riots. Fiza’s mother is devastated after his disappearance and keeps praying for his return. Feiza finally decides to take matters in her own hands and find out the truth about her brother. She takes every possible help that she can to find her brother dead or alive.
Soon Fiza is elated to see Amaan alive but to her horror, he has joined a terrorist group. He reunites with his family but wants to go back to his old life. He confesses to the terrorist networks he has joined and his mother who can no longer bare the pain of it all commits suicide. Soon Fiza goes in search of her brother again and finds that the terrorist group is also after him. With the police looking for him he asks his sister to give him a respectable death and she obeys and kills him.
The movie is directed by Khalid Mohammed and produced by Pradeep Guha. The music is composed by Anu Malik, A.R Rahman. The cinematography is by Santosh Sivan.
