Arjun Singh, played by Aftab Shivdasani is a simple man with simple ideals, living with his father who is a union leader at a local industry. His neighbors are brothers; Raghu, played by Emraan Hashmi and Shekhar, played by Rahul Dev who live in a gangster ridden area of Mumbai. Arjun is devastated to hear the news of his father being killed one day and knows the killers. Raghu and Shekhar sympathize with him and ask him to kill the murderers with a gun. They procure a gun for Arjun and he kills the murderers. The police is now on the lookout for Arjun. The brothers help Arjun escape and go to Delhi.
Meanwhile Raghu and Shekhar end up becoming notorious gangsters and are feared by people in their area. Arjun returns back to his old locality after many years and is welcomed by Shekhar and Raghu. Arjun reconciles with Raghu and Shekhar’s sister Sanjana, played by Bipasha Basu. But she would like him to go on the right path and not be a criminal. Raghu is in love with a school teacher who wants him to give up the criminal life as well. Later things take a different turn when Raghu and Shekhar learn that Arjun is not who he claims to be anymore. He is now an undercover police officer out to clear the city of crime.
The movie is directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mahesh & Mukesh Bhatt. The music is composed by Nadeem-Shravan and Himesh Reshammiya. The cinematography is by Pravin Bhatt.
