Meghaa Banerjee, played by Bidita Bag, a small town girl from West Bengal will finally see her dreams coming true in front of her very own eyes. She has gotten a scholarship in the esteemed University of New South Wales in Australia to pursue her Master’s degree in Economics. She will soon begin preparing to leave her comforted and protective life behind to explore new boundaries and cultures in a new continent.
Being brought up in a conservative middle-class family, Meghaa finds the Australian culture a huge contrast to what she’s been conditioned to believe and know. She makes good us of her new found freedom and makes a bunch of new friends including Lubaina, played by Evelyn Sharma, Raj, played by Prateek Chakravorty and Suhail, played by Karan Sagoo.
Meghaa thinks her life is now all about friendship and assignments in college when life gives her another pleasant surprise in the form of Rohit, played by Sharad Malhotra. They become good friends and eventually start to fall in love. Life from there on is seen from a new perspective by them both. The movie is directed, produced and screenplay written by Prateek Chakravorty. The music is composed by Sohail Sen
