Mohan, played by Shubham, is a happy-go-lucky chap who is excited to come to the city of dreams Mumbai. He envisions Mumbai to be all glamour and glitz with comforts and relaxation thrown in for good measure. With all these pre conceived notions, he takes the train from Banaras to Mumbai to live with his brothers who are already settled there. With all the enthusiasm in the world and happy thoughts he exits the train into the Mumbai platform.
Mohan is at first seems shocked to see the large crowds of people everywhere he goes. The traffic noise and the rash driving cabs are still worth ignoring till he reaches the place where he has to live with his brothers. The house is not even a real house but just a chawl put together with a roof and fragile walls. There is only one room where he has to sleep in with them. The cramped up place gives him nightmares and he is highly disturbed. The place is far from what he had imagined. He manages to get a job and soon decides to get married to Shalini, played by Swati Kapoor.
He is however not able to consummate his marriage to Shalini as he is sleeping in the same room as his brothers and sister-in-laws. His wife gets annoyed and thinks he is impotent, eventually leaving him. Mohan’s life turns upside down with so many problems in his life and not a solution in sight. The movie is directed by Sunil Subramani and produced by Pradeep Gupta. The star cast includes Ashmit Patel, Swati Kapoor, Monali A, Sunny Leone, Pawan Kumar Sharma and Anurag Basu.
