Harish Shankar is the director of the 2019 action comedy film Gaddalakonda Ganesh, which was also produced by Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus brand. The movie is an official remake of Jigarthanda, a 2014 Tamil film that was itself influenced by A Dirty Carnival, a 2006 South Korean film. Varun Tej, Atharvaa, Pooja Hegde, and Mirnalini Ravi all appear in the movie. Atharvaa and Mirnalini Ravi make their Telugu cinema debuts in this one.
