Ajay is an honest and tough police inspector who considers his duty above everything else. He lives with his widowed mother and takes care of her. Ajay is assigned to arrest the dreaded criminal Cobra and investigate all his illegal trades and other businesses. Ajay manages to nab him and put him behind bars, but soon he is shocked to find that Cobra is mentally unstable and sends him for treatment to a mental facility. Ajay’s mother one day while packing lunch is horrified to learn that the food had been poisoned. Thankfully Ajay is ok and is now worried if Cobra is ok. Ajay is in disbelief that his mother cares for a criminal so much, but the truth will shock him even more.
The film is directed by Vijay Reddi and produced by K C Bokadia. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The story and screenplay is written by S Sundaram. The star cast includes Dharamendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Dimple Kapadia, Jayaprada, Kader Khan, Kiran Kumar and Nirupa Roy.
