Tejpal Singh is a diligent and tough police inspector who has vowed to bring criminals to justice at any cost. He lives a happy and harmonious life with his wife Savitri and daughter Bhawani. One day Tejpal comes to know through his sniffer dog that a notorious dacoit named Lalkar Singh has been terrorizing the villagers. Tejpal wastes no time and tries to nab him. But in the ensuing fight Lalkar Singh’s younger brother is killed. As revenge, Lalkar Singh ends up killing Tejpal, leaving his wife and daughter to fend for themselves. Savitri then vows to make her daughter a police inspector. Bhawani grows up to be an honest and diligent cop just like her father to carry on his good work.
The film is directed by Reetu Raj and produced by Mohan T Gehani. The music is composed by Anwar Usman and the story is written by Mahendra Dehlvi. The cinematography is by Pravin Bhatt and the choreography is by Habiba Rehman. The star cast includes Hemant Birje, Jamuna, Sahira, Kader Khan, Amrit Pal, Shakti Kapoor and Rajnibala.
