Chennabasappa works at a good post in Bangalore for a reputed firm. He lives a comfortable life with his wife Saroja, son Nandish and daughter Uma. He is desperate to build a house for his family and thus needs the money urgently. He then decides to sell his plantations on a huge plot of land to a soap company. The land is being looked after by a poor farmer named Baswa. He is against Chennabasappa’s decision as he thinks the land is his mother and we cannot give her away for money. Chennabasappa however is a very business minded and diplomatic man, he does what he feels is logical. One day however Uma begins to act strange. She starts revealing things of her father’s past. Like once she says that her father seduced Baswa’s wife and impregnated her, thus she jumped in the well to kill herself and protect herself from the
shame. Having heard enough, Chennabasappa contacts many tantrics to help him but nothing works. The only person who helps them is Tantric Shashtri. He reveals that the lemon and woo doo doll in the house has been cursed. Turns out that Baswa is the one who has cursed Chennabasappa. Uma then becomes normal after few days. Nandish goes to Baswa to find answers but sadly he has died a few days back. He now seeks his spirit to answer his questions. The film is directed by Aruna Vikas and produced by N B Kamat.
