Dhanraj lives a middle class life with his two brothers Ketan and Chander, sister Asha and wife. He is the sole bread winner in the family and wants his two brothers to study well and get decent jobs. However, even after working hard and getting a part time job, Dhanraj isn’t able to sustain a good flow of income to support the family. Thus only one brother will be able to continue with his education. Ketan falls ill and thus decides that Chander must continue with his dream of becoming an engineer. Soon the latter also falls in love and marries Chanda, the daughter of a wealthy widow.Things take an ugly turn when Chanda and her mother are humiliated several times by Dhanraj and his family. She thus swears to break by the bond of the family and creates misunderstandings between them. The film is directed by Kalpataru and produced by Mohanji Prasad and S K Jain. The music is composed by Chitragupta. The star cast includes Sachin, Raj Kiran, Tanuja, Shoma Anand, Ashok Saraf, Shreeram Lagu, Kader Khan, Jayshree T, Shraddha Verma and Ashalata.
