Mr. Dhanraj lives a wealthy lifestyle with his two sons, daughter and a widowed daughter-in-law. Ram is married to Sita, while Uma is married to Lallu and Amar, the youngest son is unmarried. Certain circumstances make Ram think that Amar and Jaya are having an affair. In reality Amar loves Asha and takes Sita as his mother and is close to her. Soon Amar marries Asha and yet Ram’s suspicions don’t die. Meanwhile Dhanraj is violent towards his daughter-in-laws and has a terrible bad temper. Meanwhile Ram is upset and one day meets his friend Deepa who is a doctor. She hears him out and decides to help him. Ram thinks that Deepa is in love with him and shows affection which she doesn’t refuse till he is better.
Soon Uma confesses that she was the one created all the misunderstandings between Ram and Sita. Thus the family re-unites once again. The film is directed by Kalpataru and is produced by Vasant Desai. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The story and screenplay is written by Keshav Rathod. The star cast includes Rishi Kapoor, Govinda, Jayaprada, Farha, Kader Khan, Ashok Saraf, Satish Shah, Guddu, Alok Nath, Dinesh Hingoo, Shashikala, Aruna Irani, Jayshree T, Padma Khanna, Sulochana and Anita Raj.
