Ghanshyamlal and Shyamlal are business partners but the former committed a fraud and caused severe losses to the latter. He is unable to contain this loss and dies of shock. Before dying however, he makes his older son Mohan promise that he will take care of his younger brother Amar. Mohan does so and brings Amar up with love and gives him a good education. Meanwhile Mohan gets married to Laxmi and she too adores Amar like her son. They also have a daughter named Munni. Lots of girls are after Amar in the college he studies, but he is in love with Asha. A girl named Radha too loves him and is jealous of Asha.
Asha’s father is Ghanshyamlal and he arranges the marriage of Asha and Amar. This makes Radha all the more furious and she decides to take revenge. She creates misunderstandings between the two lovers and they finally separate. The film is directed by Kalpataru and produced by A Karim Sheikh and Asif Usmani. The music is composed by Ravi. The star cast includes Raj Kiran, Shafi Inamdar, Tanuja, Shoma Anand, Ashok Saraf, Kader Khan, Bharat Bhushan, Aruna Irani and Ashalata.
