Amar, lives a middle class lifestyle in Bombay. He decides to visit a village and stays with the kind Srivastav’s family. His daughter Jaya is however arrogant and headstrong. After a series of tiffs and quarrels Amar and Jaya become close and eventually fall in love. Amar and Jaya get married and she moves into his apartment in Bombay. She then gets acquainted with her surroundings and soon meets their neighbor Dharamdas and his wife. Amar then suspects that something is going on between his neighbor Dharamdas and his wife Jaya as they get very friendly. The former however uses this excuse to separate the happily married couple and create misunderstandings between them.
The movie is directed by Subhash Sanik and is produced by Jairam Gulabani. The music is composed by Amar Utpal and the lyrics are written by Anjaan. The star cast includes Govinda, Neelam, Khushboo, Anupam Kher, Satish Shah, Johnny Lever, Reeta Bhaduri, Nivedita Joshi, Beena and Kirti Kumar.
