Prem Mehra has been living a lavish life with his wife, daughter and two sons Ravi and Vijay. Prem’s rival Dharamdas is a conniving man and with the help of some goons and some of Prem’s employees, gets precious diamonds of Prem, looted from his safe and frames him for it. Prem thus losses all his wealth and has to move out of his palatial villa to small house with his loyal employee named Rahim. Vijay starts working as a news reporter, while Ravi completes hi studies. Things get complicated when Vijay marries his boss’s daughter named Naina and makes it clear that he has married her only for money. Meanwhile Ravi falls in love with Dharamdas’s daughter Lalita.
The film is directed and produced by K Ravi Shankar. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the lyrics are by Anand Bakshi. The star cast includes Rishi Kapoor, Govinda, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Neelam, Prem Chopra, Asrani, Bharat Bhushan, Shreeram Lagu, Shakti Kapoor, Satyen Kappu, Ramesh Deo, Yunus Perwaiz, Mac Mohan, Mushtaq Merchant, Vikas Anand, Bob Christo, Tanuja, Sushma Seth, Renu Arya and Aruna Irani.
