Girl Friend is an Emotional-Romantic Musical Family Drama Film exceptionally crafted by Satyen Bose. The Story revolves around the life of Shyam (played by Kishore Kumar)- A Simple youth living with his family who fells in love with a Sweet girl from the neighborhood- Meera (played by Waheeda Rehman)- the daughter of Shankerlal. However, their parents have sworn enemies from an incident and find difficulties in life. Things get complicated- when an Evil man tries to separate them with misunderstanding, but they stayed united, leading to consequences.
